I have VERY thin and sparse hair.?

I am just looking for some serious ideas on what to do. I have tried all kinds of products that are to thicken hair.....I have never colored it before, might that help??

I'd work on your diet first. Try using a volumizing shampoo if you haven't already. My sister in law has the same problem. Maybe you should do what she did and just find a hairstyle that mkes it look thicker than it is.

Unless you have a "condition" that is causing this, it's from your diet. You need to increase your protein and fat intake. Consume gelatin also and drink lots of water.

coloring may help because the hairs plump up. If you don't really want to change your color to much,get a color that is close to your natural color.

You need to talk with a beautician and also your doctor, they would be good at advising you on suggestions. Coloring it may not be the answer either. Chemicals are really not good for anyone.

I've never colored my hair, but apparently coloring your hair isn't really good for it and certainly won't make it thicker. A couple of ideas:

This is hearsay, but MANE AND TAIL shampoo and conditioner (in the pet aisle at Wal*Mart, but has directions for human use) is VERY good for hair-for thickness, growth etc...

If you want you hair to look thicker, you can buy hair extentions that look VERY real. By adding these to what hair you have, you can accomplish the desired look. Check your local wig stores to see if they carry extensions OR buy online.

Well, my little sister has the same condition, and Main And Tail really works. You can buy it at Sally Beauity Supply. And i don't work there, so i'm not trying to make you buy it or anything, but it really does work. And if it's how your hair looks that makes you insucure, then if you crimp your hair with styling gel, it'll make it look thicker.

To make your hair crimp, fallow these

1.)get a towel,and long lasting syling gel.

2.) apply a small amount of gel to your hand.(about egg sized)

3.)part your hair into inch-thick layers.

4.)take your towel and rub the gel into your and push the towel up into your hair.

5.) do this to all of your sections, and you'll have thicker hair b4 u no it!!

lucky!!!!!! be glad!!!! . i have super thick hair and its wavy!!! I spend 45- 60 min on it a day!!!! you do not want thick hair!!!
