Dear Kenny, If your hair is extremely thick try using a straightner 2-3 tube keep for 20 mins not more than that %26amp; wash throughly with a branded shampoo next condition it.. iron after got it dried...

I don't know if I'd try it on yourself. Maybe other people though. The only way I know of is by thinning scissors, and you need to be seriously careful that you don't make your hair too thin. There are other ways but I am not familiar with them. You can probably buy thinning scissors through a hair or salon company.

my hair is normally REALLY REALLY thick ..... when i wanted to thin it i just bought some thinning scissors from wal*mart ... they're really easy to use .. all you have to do is cut straight up into your hair.. and after you get done doing that ... just take out the extra hair and ur done

Overly thick hair?

Make a pony tail using less than half of your hair. You know, that half up half down do. Cut a decent amoung of hair straight across the pony tail. Don't make it too short. We're making layers here. Next, let your hair down and run a razor, yes a razor along the layers of you hair. Make sure you have someone to supervise you so you don't accidentally mess up. Don't hold the hair in place or push with the razor. Start just above the ending of the first layer. This creates more choppy layers effectively thinning out your hair and creating a nice effect. I used to do my hair like this all the time. This is the easy way to do it. The other way is to hold scissors vertical and cut up the hair. Use the razor, it's your first time doing this.
